Advanced CTE Strategies - hybrid

ClassGraphic This instructional course will include more in-depth knowledge in instructional methods and strategies and their applications for CTE teachers. Methods may include the art of questioning, project-based learning, action research, classroom design and strategies for involving the community and parents. Occupational analysis processes will be used to assist teachers in analyzing data to project future workforce conditions and assess current local labor market information. Course will have one in-person sessions and additional project work. The  required in-person sessions is Thursday, August 19 from 8am to 12pm. (30 clock hours.) Class has required book.
Prerequisites: All other course work complete. Final course before Practicum.

Please read:  Prerequisite: All other coursework complete. This is the final course before Practicum. One required in-person session on Thursday, August 19 from 8am-12pm. Required textbook: "Differentiation in Middle and High School, Strategies to Engage All Learners", by Kristina J. Doubet and Jessica A. Hockett. Information to log onto Canvas will be sent out a week prior to the start of the class. The instructor will make the classroom live before the class begins.
